The Experience Modification Rate (EMR) is a number used by insurance companies to gauge future chances of risk based on past cost of incidents. A lower EMR means a better overall safety record and lower worker compensation insurance premiums. An EMR of 1.0 is considered the industry average. Our commitment to safetly has allowed us to operate with an extremely low incidence of accidents and injuries. For this reason, the company has consistently kept below the average, with a current EMR of 0.81.
